Anyone else just watch CSI? Pro-life/Pro-choice storyline....Spoiler
Had a storyline along the lines of "Snowflake babies".. you know the kids that are born when people adopt fertilized eggs that couples trying to have kids via IVF no longer want?

The "Pre-born" religious lady came off as pretty flaky, and there were several intriguing cases made for when life begins.. and Catherine came out as being pro-choice.

Very interesting, really.

life starting with the first breath being drawn.

You can try searching for the Levitcus verse too, as I am not having luck yet: http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/

So far all I have is this.. but they used the context differently ont he show so I missed these verses the first few times I saw them:

# Leviticus 17:11
For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.

Leviticus 17:10-12 (in Context) Leviticus 17 (Whole Chapter)
# Leviticus 17:14
because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off."
Leviticus 17:13-15 (in Context) Leviticus 17 (Whole Chapter)

6. Leviticus 17, v. 11
I just looked it up in my old (german) bible. Translated, it says that the soul of the flesh is in the blood, etc..

11. Psalm 22:10 is good, too.
"upon Thee I was cast from birth; Thou hast been My God from My mother's womb."

2. Yes! I got the topic of stem cell research out of it, and when
is an embryo viable. It was one of their better ones.

considered the victim was someone's baby too...

5. I assume you mean Anti-choice/Pro-choice?
I'm pro-life. That's why I protest the war and the death penalty. I'm also pro-choice since I don't want Slappy Thomas deciding what women should do with their bodies.

15. Was great. And even before the leviticus reference
about a person becoming one when the blood vessels are formed - about 18 days..

I liked the reference to the church standing during the 15the Century, that a life is formed when the woman feels the movement.

The enemies of the privacy, of course, say that as science has advanced, the date of viability has moved to earlier time. While with the blood test - I think that by the time a woman suspects she is pregnant the cluster of cells is more than 18 days old.
