If a Partisan Judge is not good enough for Delay why is one good enough
for America? I think the dismissal of the Judge in Delay's case is absurd but if that is the new Legal Precedent we must look towards then I suggest that any supreme Court Justice be entirely non-partisan and have never made any partisan contributions. The Leader of the Republicans Tom Delay has established precedent....

1. Has this ever happened before?
A partisan judge removed from a "political" case?

3. And if he gets a Republican judge
Doesn't that imply undue judicial sympathy?
Should his case only be presided over by an independant?

Actually I think that would be pretty funny, as DeLay's attorney would have a hell of a time trying to figure out how screwed he is.

4. The precedent that was established
was to throw money, in the form of high priced lawyers, at a problem until you get your way.

All this shows is that justice is blind, and the Republicans trained its seeing eye dogs.

The corruption continues.

6. Judicial donations, Hmmmm?
Pretty soon, every burglar and drug dealer will be selecting judges based on previous donations. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If our "bigwigs" can demand a certain kind of justice than so should the average joe.

Delay and Rove - Teflon Liars and Crooks.

8. while i don't agree with delay's tactics...
...I think it is more than just a "political" move. I mean, delay's case is all about political contributions... he certainly does have at least a reason to make a big deal over the judge contributing to the dems. That being said, I do not agree that the judge should be removed. It is a BAD precedent to set, and I hope it comes back to bite rethugs in the ass many times over.

But come on, if you were delay wouldn't you try to have the dem judge removed too? Plus I'm sure he doesn't care about precedent as long as it gets his ass out of jail.
