we spent 9 days without it here in South Florida.That's just about as much as a 21st century human should be forced to endure.Everyone is OK and the stars were unbelievable to look at at night-with no lights coming up from the ground and no moon those first few days.You find ways to look at what you DO have instead of what you don't at times like these.There's always somebody who has it worse than you and yours-that's guaranteed....Good to be back and what did I miss?

3. Actually one of the smart things

that the Jebbies are talking about-that and requiring all gas stations to have generators-we sat in a gas line for 5 hours 2 days after the storm

yea I was listening to AAR and was keeping up to date as much as I could.Thankfully we finally got Randi Rhodes this week on WJNO(hurricane coverage last week).She has pretty much been a great teacher for us down here in south Florida for years-that's the way I think of her anyway.
