Lou Dobbs almost defending the Democratic rebellion
Edited on Tue Nov-01-05 06:10 PM by Armstead
After a reporter called it a "stunt" and "politics" Dobbs, in one of his ponderous observations, replied:

"Some people would respond that this means Congress is starting to do its job."

I don't agree with him all the time, but He seems to be a straight shooter.

8. I think that may be the reporter who pissed off Reid earlier...
The reporter asked about consulting with the leaders and Reid went off on him.

The way this jackass acted, I wondered if it was the same guy.

9. Paraphrase.
Washington may work that way but people out here in America want accountability for the war.

10. Dobbs refused to call the move today a "stunt"
and the reminder from Bill Schneider of what Americans said in the most recent polls about believing we WERE LIED TO about WMDs and the need for war in Iraq is what will make all the difference in days to come.

STARTING TOMORROW, the support for the Dems' move by millions of Americans will be heard. And THAT should fairly well shut up the indignant outcry we're hearing right now from the Republicans!
