They were just talking on CNN about how, 'just like Vietnam' it would be better for the troops to know they would be there for a whole year 'just like Vietnam'.

1. Rummy's not going to like that
he HATES when people compare Iraq to Vietnam, it just gets his blood boiling.

He prefers to compare it to the American Revolution, according to one of his speeches. I'm still thinking about that one...

2. Guerilla war
Now that the Pentagon's admitted it's a guerilla war, dead GIs are being shown on the nightly news, the pretext for the war shown to be a fraud, the comparisons are all too inevitable and tragic.

And I'm sure a few other similarities will be demonstrated. It ain't gunna be pretty no matter what it resembles.

The AWOL chimp avoided the Nam, but now he has authored his own version of QUAGMIRE. To bad he won't enjoy it like the young "mericans that are doing the dirty work. Stupid is as Stupid does.
