Powerful Government Accounting Office report confirms key 2004 stolen election findings
by Bob Fitrakis & Harvey Wasserman
October 26, 2005

As a legal noose appears to be tightening around the Bush/Cheney/Rove inner circle, a shocking government report shows the floor under the legitimacy of their alleged election to the White House is crumbling.

The latest critical confirmation of key indicators that the election of 2004 was stolen comes in an extremely powerful, penetrating report from the General Accounting Office that has gotten virtually no mainstream media coverage.

The government's lead investigative agency is known for its general incorruptibility and its through, in-depth analyses. Its concurrence with assertions widely dismissed as "conspiracy theories" adds crucial new weight to the case that Team Bush has no legitimate business being in the White House.

4. This is a big damn deal--nominated
If this were anything like a just or rational world, this entire administration would simply be thrown out on their evil election-stealing asses, including Bush's clearly invalid appointments to the federal bench, particularly Owen, Brown, and Roberts.

Note the posts in the replies about the BradBlog coverage of the GAO report and Rep. Conyers' statement. They are essential and contain important links as well.

trumpet this from the rooftops, the headline isn't warranted by what the GAO actually said.

Was the election stolen? HELL, yes.

Can we prove it? Not conclusively to most people's satisfaction, no.

That leaves working to get paper trails in the future and campaigning our asses off to get our people elected.

There's not much point in getting all outraged about something we can't possibly remediate at this point. But by all means USE that outrage to work on changes next time around.
