Latest Poll After the Debate: Undecided Becomes Frontrunner...
Yes. Dean/Clark are down, Lieberman/Sharpton, have gone up, and our party will nominate based on a coin toss if the next debate isn't different.

2. Didn't see it, but the media spin wasn't great
They just said they attacked Clark--nothing about anyone shining, so this poll doesn't surprise me.

Isn't there a non-partisan out there who can moderate these things? Must we always turn to Rethugs?

4. Lieberman's numbers are going up.
People are more comfortable with him when he acts like a Democrat, including me.

5. Gephardt went down?
I thought he performed very well.

We need to keep Lieberman as low as possible because he can't win! what exactly is he doing to gain support?

14. I thought he did too...
...however his recipie for the future was to renact 1993 when we had the benefit of both houses under Democratic rule. In my mind he kept referencing the past as a way to our future but current reality does not match in 2003. The rose garden thing aside I like the guy and am glad for him.

7. Thanks for pointing this out!
That's a huge margin of error for this kind of poll, and I overlooked it. Thanks!

15. You're quite welcome.
I think this shows why the state polls are the ones to watch. Also, the next debate needs to be focused like a lazer onto Bush. None of this circular fireing squad crap like we saw in the previous debate.

And the campaigns need to make sure that the quetions aren't anti-Democratic or phrased to promote attacks on one another.

This mudslinging isn't helping *any* candidate, IMHO.

17. Isn't the purpose of a candidate 's debate
to show the difference or consensus of the candidates ? I don't see how you accomplish this if you don't want them to disagree during the debate. Unless they all agree on everything, which I don't see is the case.

I think they can do this in a way that does not bring embarassment to anyone.

11. The MOE makes 'movement' between this poll and the last one
impossible to nail down. About all this poll does is affirm the last one. The most substantial move is Lieberman's, and his movement was well within the MOE.

12. The news mostly mentions Clark, Kerry, Lieberman.
I have watched the last few days. When they show the group of candidates, they show Lieberman, Clark, and then the others, usually Kerry. This is just the last few days, aside from the debate, which hardly anyone watched.

I have noted on many of the news briefs on cable, they fail to mention Dean. Just concentrate on the above. They will occasionally, but like they were just ignoring him this week. Not speaking of print media, just the cable news briefs.

I had noticed this, so had my husband, before I ever saw the poll.

Trust me, if the press can sell Arnold like they did, they can pick our candidate. You know they can. Also there is still the name recognition factor, and it is really big right now. Lieberman and Clark are best known.

That +or-6 is a huge spread, also.

13. Clark went from 16 percent to 15 percent
That's hardly a drop. Everything is fluid; there's long way to go.
