CNN. All Hurricane. All the Time.
I've been watching CNN for 30+ minutes and not one word about the explosions in Bagdad.

1. and if I hear another word about the "tourists" without mention of the
residents of the areas--ARGGGGH.

8. Did you see Al Roker tied to a rope and then

he fell on his face?

He is far too old to be swinging in the bold winds!

10. The guy on local CBS?
He was hysterical...like an SNL skit.

I'm in Miami and we stayed up late, watching Dave in Key West and listening to the storm.

9. It was curious seeing Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel ...
... on a dock over the course of many remote shots, talking about how huge pleasure boats were faring. I like Jim Cantore, and I realize that is a part of the story, but it seemed to occupy a wee bit too much of their coverage. Lives were at stake, and we are supposed to give two shizzits about someone's multi-100 thousand dollar pleasure craft?

14. I was stuck in a Doctors office today....
forced to watch over two hours of this mind numbing coverage. It would be nice if they covered some real news for a change.

15. Oddly enough...
Some of us consider a Cat 5 record-breaking storm to be "real news."

16. Oh please.
I live in Florida and I understand the need to cover the storm. But alot of the coverage has been absolutely ridiculous. Storm trackers with satellite images is real, stupid reporters out in the storm giving a play by play of roof tiles flying around is not.

19. And they haven't had much on Rosa Parks
At least MSNBC had some good pieces on it from what I saw earlier.

Carol Mosley Braun was on CNN for about 5 minutes talking aboout Parks but that's all I saw.
