What a sickening display of swaggering assholes out to show the world a thing or two. It's fun to know they're squirming, and it's silly to see them strike the poses. Junior can play cowboy, but his pathetic indecision and obliviousness during Katrina has done him irreparable damage: the forthright man of action was a clay-footed blunderer, and all he can do is fight with feeble P.R. stunts to try and spin the obvious.

It's all very interesting, and I'd love for your pronouncement to be true, but I don't know what to think. At the moment, I'd say Libby's definitely in a heap of shit, and even if not directly tagged, that puts Cheney in a very embarrassing position. Whether Rove and Junior were able to throw Deadeye Dick's mob to the wolves and escape is yet to be seen, but that certainly seems to be what's afoot.
