Brian cut his teeth working for Jerry Ford and has never hidden his right wing bias. Look at the constant parading of AEI and Heritage Institute goons who show up on C-SPAN shows. Also Brian won't hestitate to cite right wing rags like the Washington Moonie Times, Boston Hearld and NY Post.

The other hosts are getting just as bad. Many times right wing lies and slander are allowed to go on while Democrats are cut short...especially if it is some criticism of booooosh.

Brian's got a nice little deal going here. He gets the big ticket access to all the drinkie-drinkie parties and gets his calls returned. He makes big time money from your cable bill and doesn't have to have an advertising department to do it. In return, his corporate backers...the cable companies and large corporates, cite C-SPAN as how they're upholding their responsibility for "public access".

Black Republican calling in now. I've met a couple of Black Republicans but they were "small business owners" in the *upper* middle class tax bracket. I used to work in retail and enjoyed talking with many people. Not EVER have I met even a middle class person of color who votes Republican. Much less those I've talked with from the Working Class.

MY RATIONALE = When it comes to POWER and STATUS the true color of bigotry is da MEAN GREEN. In general, the more MONEY you have (regardless of gender or race), the more one tends to vote republican. Notable exceptions - but the above statement is, in general, a truism.

Bossier city for some reason is pronounced Bolger. My husband was from a small town near there called Plain Dealing.
