I've thought about it, I've suggested it, and I think it's about time we did it. Sometimes, in our busy lives, we can lose track of what to blame on Bill & Hill. Wouldn't it be nice to know for sure what to blame them for each and every day?

27. TN Rep Marsha Blackburn's report in our local paper

This was just in yesterday's paper. Very local, very rural weekly paper so I'll just type in briefly what she says...

Serving on the Energy and Commerce Committee, I've watched time and time again as liberal Congressmen step in to keep us from expanding domestic oil exploration and refining capacities......blah blah blah.....The bill HR 3893 is supposed to cut through the red tape and facilitate construction of oil refineries and development of domestic fuel sources....blah blah....I think it is a matter of economic and national security so to me it's shameful that we've let environmental extremists and their liberal advocates in Washington have their way with our energy supply system. The Clinton Administration vetoed domestic oil exploration. TN's own Al Gore supported efforts aimed at raising gas prices during the 90s. All the while they worked to increase the difficulty in building new refineries. We've got high gas prices and we're going to have high home heating costs this winter because we've let certain groups put their interests above something so critical to our everyday life like access to fuel. The left is going to say this bill does nothing but help the big, rich oil companies but we need gas and we don't refine enough oil - who is the loser here.....blah blah....I believe this bill will help but those who've held it up all these years put us in the position we're in today.

CLINTON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR HIGH HEATING BILLS THIS YEAR.
Top that!? I sent in a Letter to the editor - we'll see if it is printed next week.

28. FEMA incompetence = Bill Clinton's fault

It's true! Bill brought in James Lee Witt, his Arkansas disaster relief chief to strengthen FEMA, and Witt did a WONDERFUL job transforming a stagnant bureaucracy into a model of disaster response efficiency, and then Clinton had the nerve to LEAVE the White House in 2000, taking Witt with him.

So then this guy George W. Bush somehow ended up in the White House, and after 9/11, which was Clinton's fault (but you already mentioned that) Bush created this Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to handle ALL US disasters whether caused by terrorists or nature, and he brought in this flunky, Michael Chertoff to head DHS. And Chertoff picked his friend the horse lawyer Michael Brown to head FEMA...

Follow me so far?

And then this Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and sunk it and maybe a thousand people ended up dead 'cause Brown was too busy worrying about his dinner plans and basking in praise from this President Bush so he wasn't doing his job....

So you see, it's all CLINTON'S fault. If he hadn't left the White House (and don't lecture me about any quaint term limits in the Constitution, jackass!), there's wouldn't have been a Bush, and a 9/11, which resulted in DHS, and FEMA under DHS, and Chertoff and Brown, and the hurricane deaths in New Orleans... GET IT??? It's CLINTON'S fault.
