http://www.presstitutes.com/presstitutes/2005/10/pretit... Read this Tom Curry piece for a lesson in pro-administration Pre$$titution: "On Wednesday, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice testified for more than three hours before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in defense of President Bush’s Iraq policy ... Rice was a portrait of sustained intensity and grace under pressure, never losing her poise despite brusque interruptions and scornful questions from Boxer, Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and others."
If Curry wanted to be a real journalist rather than play one on MSNBC, he would probe how Cheney, Rummy, Condi, and Powell have mastered the art of the cold, steely, soulless gaze, the robotic recitation of talking points, the zombie-like delivery of Orwellian rhetoric. At least Bush takes the time to mangle the language and smirk and blink while he lies to America about war.
