Just watched Brit Hume on Fox (just surfing!) and they had "commentary" from Krauthammer, who blamed the CIA for Bush's troubles and Fred Barnes, whose tongue is permanently in the administration's private parts. So, here's the talking points we can expect: The whole Wilson "thing" is simply another indication of the CIA's incompetence. The CIA did not well serve the president. My take? They know the investigation goes beyond "outing" Valerie Plame to the underlying rationale for the war, and that's why the talking points are shifting. Krauthammer may have gone even further than the administration in even now effusively praising Ahmed Chalabi (not a Rove tactic). But watch it, my friends: It's the CIA's fault. And with that, they are grasping at straws.

it. I am so tired of the current lie being told in an attempt to further discredit Wilson, which is the mis-quote from his article. If I remember correctly, he never said that Cheney the Dick sent wanted him to go to Niger; he said the trip stemmed from an inquiry by the VP's OFFICE...too subtle a difference for the lying sacks of shit running our country into the ground, but a major distinction in terms of fact (fact being the REAL filthy four-letter F-bomb to a conservative: "fuck" obviously is fine, as long as it's the VP uttering it on the Senate floor...)

If it makes you feel any better, I was talking to some White Sox fans in Chicago over the weekend about the world series, and they said it had been 60 or something years since either Chicago team had been to the World Series. So maybe 21 years isn't sooo bad.
