I think that Earle agreed that he could just come in stealthily and be arraigned, although that was before DeGuerin started all these bogus petitions for dismissal and the Bugman started running his attack ads. That may have been a deal-breaker.

Would be mighty nice if the BugFucker drove up in his bigass limo expecting to be treated like royalty and a couple of Texas Rangers in full regalia clapped the cuffs on him. I'd enjoy that a lot. :evilgrin:
