It's Your Right to Drink Coke!
Don't let them tell you anything different. Besides... you never know when you'll need it. Spread the word... your right to bare a Coke! They will have to pry this Coke from my cold dying hands!

Buy more Coke! :)

1. I will never buy Pepsi. . .the parent company supports Republicans
and they also refuse to sell to Israel. Way to keep American Jews' business.

17. You have to admit...
that Israel's human rights record is not good. There are quite a few companies that boycott Israel on that ground. It seems a bit, well, stupid to conflate a problem with the government of Israel with anti-Semitism. Personally I'd hope that most American Jews aren't that stupid.

25. Hell, that entire region is a shit fuck. NOBODY has a good human rights
record there, not the palestinians, nor the Israelis, nor the Arabs.

18. You can't buy a coke in Arab nations
'cuz Coke sells to Israel. Pepsi is it in Saudi Arabia, etc. Just market region division to the soda manufacurers. Same with Ford and GM. My boss in Riyhad had to have parts for his Ford-powered boat cleansed of any Ford identifiers before they were shipped into the country.

Don'cha love religion?

11. You know, I like Kool-Aid. . .seriously, no politics intended
I love Kool-Aid. My parents gave me red and blue kool-aid all the time. We used to put wooden tongue depressors in a mold and made popsiciles. I love Kool-Aid.

But the color changing one screws with my mind. It's green, but tastes like red.

5. naked coke?
Edited on Wed Oct-19-05 03:32 PM by sui generis
Some people are worried about the size of their coke when they bare it.

Not me, but I have noticed that the super big gulp coke tends to get flat quickly.

(groan) I did write that, but I'll deny it. It's the cough medicine that made me do it.

8. Ever had Coke in Mexico?
it's made from real sugar...

Damn, it tastes much better. And they usually serve it in bottles.

HF corn-syrup is bad for you, too.

21. Mmmm...Amsterdam...
Ok, I rarely smoke pot anymore...with two small kids, who has time? However, I have always loved hash. It is a good thing that it is almost impossible to get.

Hell, these days if I drink two beers I am buzzed!

19. Coca Cola did business with the Nazis during WW2
Changed their product there to Fanta for the occasion.

Coca Cola is one of the Big Bad "Profit Uber Alles" Corporations that have infested this planet.

IBM provided the Nazis with the (then mechanical) computers and (punch card) software to help manage the logistics of the Holocaust. It's not exactly off-the-shelf equipment, the punch cards were printed in the US during the war. IBM doesn't deny this, they just say they weren't really that involved.

20. New marketing strategy?
People posting random product support on message boards? Hm. Doesn't seem very efficient but if Coke is doing it maybe they know something. Do they pay per post or is it a retainer kind of deal?
