He would be running ads non-stop to improve his image. In early '04 his job approval was in the low 40's and he climbed back to be over 50%. This year he is not running an ad campaign or trying to scare people with terror alerts on the scale he was using last year. He is trying to scare people again, but not as much which is not working.

I am glad the election is not until next year. The only way we'll get rid of the worst offenders is by indictments and impeachments. Their grip on the voting machines assures that elections won't hurt them. But now, by getting rid of them judicially, we'll be in a better position to start repairing the election system and to win big in the election.

Last year he was advertising every day about how he keeping America safer from terrorists. This year you don't see nary such an ad, because it is not an election year, and there's no Democratic candidate to beat up on and smear.

of course we are all SUPPOSED to want things to get better in Iraq sooner rather than later, or we aren't supporting our troops, BUT IF they are in fact better. . . well you see where I am going. . . . Really tough, but I think I am hope either #1-something takes out the whole administration in a way that causes an emergency re-election, not likely, or #2-more things go wrong.
