Did a Google check. There are a lot of sites asserting that Rice used to be married, but all of the bios from conservative sources maintain that she has never married. The closest I could find is that she was once engaged to be married, but the engagement was never acted upon. Mea culpa.

I was married once and had 2 children. After many relationships, I decided marriage was not for me. I am too independent.
