DC marchers. Were you part of a drill?
You might want to read this.

I just got back from my doctor on a followup about this (As I rarely ever get sick, I didnt have a doctor before, but I do from now on).

First off, it actually was the Aww this sucks, I have the common cold. kind of sick, (small fever, cough, and aches) or at least it was until I read that and went to the ER about it.

Throughout my 3 day stay I wasnt told what all of the tests were for or what any of the findings showed. I had dozens of blood tests, nose and throat swabs, a lot of focus on what appears to be a cold sore on my lip (although Ive never gotten one before), and a lumbar puncture (yuk).

Today the doc tells me that two separate preliminary tests done at a local lab confirmed tularemia, but a third conclusive test sent to a Center for Disease Control lab turned up negative. I dont yet know which tests he was talking about. All of the other suspects, flu, cold (noravirus) bacterial meningitis, have been ruled out on all of the tests. . .

3. dont't believe everything you read on the internets
one person with an alleged case of bunny fever does not a US gov't drill make, folks.

8. The problem with "conspiracy theory" bashing is
that w/o proof and a free press, speculation and the internet are all we have. Fact is the US gov't drill took place two days before the march, the six air monitors detected Tularemia, and a cloud of dust is very, very unlikely to be the cause.

10. i'm still not buying it
show me the bunches of people sick with Tularemia, as opposed to sick with common colds and the like. You don't get a mild case of Tularemia when you get it, you get really sick!

The US gov't may be inefficient in many respects, but if they were trying to do this, I find it hard to believe they would fail at it so miserably. One thing they know far too much about is the dispersal of airborne bioweapons. They spent the better part of the Cold War perfecting those techniques at Ft. Detrick.

5. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY DID....
And I want to know what they exposed these people to, if anything.
If they did something (and it would not surprise me in the least if they did) then that about seals it.

What did they expose these people to and why?

And WHO ordered it, and when is that person being sentenced to a lifetime pass to the Gray Bar hotel?

Maybe when they start poisoning people as they sit in their pews at their local churches will the sheeple WAKE THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!

7. I'm with you.
What were they doing and why. The fact is six air monitors (miles apart) detected Tularemia. This has never happened before anywhere. This is not a conspiracy theory. It's a fact and it's supicious as hell.

11. You'll find out in 25 years. These things tend to come to light much
later, and we all act shocked that the govt would do such things, and then we forget about it until the next revelation.

6. I was there.
Thank God, I've had the occasional sore throat since then, but I hang out in smoky bars.

People should be aware, though, and not assume that exercising your right to free speech is guaranteed without retaliation.

9. We have been underestimating the vindictive nature of this administration
since day one. Is there anything they wouldn't do to keep power?

13. There are NO confirmed cases of Tularemia
I have no illusions regarding what our gov't is capable of, but can't we please let this one go?
