If GM is so willing to cut the benefits of the autoworkers why won't the company talk about cutting or taking away the pay and/or stock options of the big time executives, who one business writer said were underpaid. Even beyond GM, when something goes wrong at a company it is the workers and not the exectuives that have things cut. It seems to me that the real cost at GM and other companies is the pay to their executives that get stock options, big salaries, and great benefits. In my opinion GM should be trying to make a deal with the big executives to make concessions.
