FBI: Closing Baltimore Tunnel Was Best

BALTIMORE (AP) - Despite questions about the credibility of a threat
to detonate vehicles full of explosives, officials said they had
little choice but to close one of the busy tunnels underneath
Baltimore's harbor and partially shut down the other for nearly two
hours.

One person who may have been connected to the threat was arrested on
immigration charges, a law enforcement official said.

The FBI had found no evidence to corroborate the threat by Tuesday
evening, said agent Kevin Perkins of the FBI's Baltimore field office.

Yet another false alarm coming from an uncorroborated,
less than credible source.

BushCo may not have raised this alarm specificially to distract people,
but they are definitely trying to turn up the fear level.

falsely so many times that no one believes him when a wolf finally does appear.

3. And then they'll blame the lefties/liberals/Cindy Sheehan

for the fact that the Repukes have cried wolf so many times and it comes out as baseless (or from someone who's been in Gitmo for 3 years) causing the people to not believe it.

And they'll try to blame the lefties for "not protecting" the American people - despite their adoration of the "fine job" that Bush had been doing "fighting them over there so that we don't fight them over here" . . .
