5. I've been kieeping on top of htis

for as a former health care worker I can indentify the coming pandemic... and don't think this is bushco... but Roche has aparently reversed cousre and will allow others to produce tamiflu, which will help.

6. The mortality cited in the CBC report ...

... was 2 in 100 at worst case scenario. While that is bad, it's not the same as saying 30-50% of the population will die, which is the implication of some of the sloppy sensationalist reporting i've seen recently.

So if 30-50% of the population may be carriers but only 2 in 100 would die from the worst case pandemic. According to the CBC segment on the National from the original post.
