| My daughter is going on a class trip to DC on Nov. 6 |

I wonder what the state of affairs will be then...
She is going to meet our local congressman (Sam Farr, he rocks), and they will also hear GW speak on Veteran's Day at Arlington.
Last night I explained the whole Plame affair to her; if there are indictments next week, things should be pretty chaotic in DC when she goes.

| 1. I'm sure she will have lots of memories. |

The event will still go on, with or without Bush. If he is too drunk to show up, someone will cover for him, they always have.
Arlington is a beautiful place. Get her to take pictures.

I went to DC in seventh grade for a band competition and we got to do some tourism and it wasn't too bad. I didn't like it too much since I was younger but if you love history and everything than you'll love going there. I hope to go back now that I'm older and enjoy politics and history more. How cool she gets to mee your rep! I hope she has fun.
