Finally I get it! I kept thinking this whole thing has reminded me of something but I was never sure what. Judy was co-opted- they appealed to her vanity, her sense of self-importance, all the excitement of cloak and dagger. "Judy, you're country is relying on you . . " If you don't know what I'm talking about look up the movie reference. She even looks like Diane Keaton!

but if you think about it , even that asinine code letter of Libby's plays into this. Judith Miller was the ultimate narcissist actress in her own screenplay that was used bigtime by Cheney et al for their own purposes. Too bad she had to take down 2 countries and a renowned newspaper too.

I think she let herself be used then did this whole "victim" thing to try to wiggle out of what would have been a very embarrassing situation.

5. WOW! Phoebe! Great Minds!! I wrote that down on a pad ...

... this afternoon, where I keep my random thoughts of things that I might write about, or make a cartoon from. I was thinking about that character, and how she was played by Keaton, how she was used, and how she was turned around.

I wondered if her 85 days had turned her around.

If she doesn't become the prosecutor's little drummer girl, she's nuts. She can probably take down the VP as well as his whole crew. I don't know if she and Libby were literally in bed, but folks, in case you don't know it, a LOT of that goes on inside the beltway. Literally or not, she was in bed politically DEEP DEEP DEEP, as in OWNED and MADE.

Libby was her ticket to access at the highest level of the govenment, which is GOLD for a journalist, GOLD.
