religiously insane in a panic - homos in HGTV and Animal Planet

http://mediamatters.org/items/200510130004

American Family Association's Tim Wildmon backed caller's warning of "evidence of homosexuality and lesbian people on programs like HGTV and Animal Planet"

During the October 11 broadcast of Today's Issues, a daily show on the Christian broadcasting network American Family Radio (AFR), host Tim Wildmon -- president of the American Family Association (AFA), which operates AFR -- agreed with a caller's claims that "you really, really, really have to watch what you are watching on TV" because "evidence of homosexuality and lesbian people" appears in programming on cable channels HGTV and Animal Planet. He responded by telling the caller, "You're very perceptive ... because that does happen, even in the most innocent of places." Wildmon also warned that "you have to watch out for children's programs today as well because they'll slip it in there as well."

1. Paging Tim Wildmon
There wouldn't BE an HGTV without gays and lesbians.

(or MTV, HBO, CBS, NBC, ABC etc)

5. LOL!
If there weren't any gay designers on HGTV, would they even have a network?

Comming up next - decorating your yard with old tractor tires from the NEW HGTV.

How about a hummingbird feeder mad from a budwiser can?

23. It's not just the designers
but actual gay couples having their homes redecorated by the gay designers and sometimes even doing the redecorating themselves and showcasing them in a way that viewers know they're living together in those homes.

It can't be the designers, because then they'd have to include all the channels with design and style shows.

6. Everything is yellow to the jaundiced eye.
Yes, I, too, find their tantruming and conspiracy tiring. It's obvious projection and lack of ability to hold differences. A weakness of so many no just Christians.

12. There are witches living on my street. I see them everywhere.
These people (AFA, et al.) are so spiritually undisciplined that their very 'perceptions' lead them to heresy. What's particularly alarming to me is that it's now taboo to criticize or debate the ignorance and superstition of these people publicly.

While we're not witnessing literally burnings at the stake in 21st century America, many of us are experiencing them figuratively. That may read as hyperbole to you but I'll ask you to consider the anti-gay protestations of the Pope, the Dear Leader, and any number of supernumeraries connected to politics and religion.

I'm looking forward to supporting a renewal of secular enlightenment myself. May it come soon.

17. Did he use the phrase, "cram it down our throats?"
They like to use that a lot. "Cramming the homosexual agenda down our throats."

To which I add, "until their lifestyle is our chins."

Or maybe Nigel Marven is doing Mario Lopez?

God...maybe my TiVO will go backwards and I can check to see if Animal Planet is imbedding sublimimimiminal gay messages when played backwards.

Oh yeah...and did you hear about the gay penguins?

Yeah, that Animal Planet is a hot bed of homo sex now that I stop and think about it!

Oh, the humanity...

24. Who's gay on Animal Planet? Probably the animals! HAH!
These people are afraid of their own shadows. I know my title could seem like the wrong thing to say, but I BET the RW really does believe the animals who hump the same sex in their same group is homo too!

I know I've heard people say their DOG was a homo!

20. These people are helpful....
They let people in this country see what the conservative religious movement is really all about. Nuts like these are objects of curiosity and ridicule. The more these guys open their mouths, the more they doom their "movement".
