The annual Ron Ridenhour Awards seek to discover and recognize those who persevere in acts of truth-telling that protect the public interest, advance or promote social justice and illuminate a more just vision of society.
The 2005 recipients are Seymour Hersh, winner of the Ridenhour Courage Award; Adrian Nicole LeBlanc, winner of the Ridenhour Book Prize and Kristen Breitweiser, winner of the Ridenhour Truth-Telling Award.
The recipients of the inaugural awards were Joseph Wilson, Deborah Scroggins and Daniel Ellsberg.
The deadline for 2006 Truth Telling Award is November 1, 2005.
