Ann Coulter: They're treating us like liberals, lying to us

Ann Coulter: They're treating us like liberals, lying to us.
Ann Coulter and Brent Bozell teamed up once again on Hannity's radio show today to discuss Harriet Miers. Coulter, not too happy with the Bush choice, admitted that the GOP lie to liberals which surprises nobody. After saying "They're treating us like liberals lying to us" she followed with "When they lie to Conservatives, we have a problem."
10/13/05

Coulter insisted that that Miers is simply not smart enough to be on the Supreme Court adding that she will be eaten alive and driven by her law clerk if confirmed.

Bozell said that two things might happen. Either she'll survive the confirmation and Bush will be embarrassed or she'll go down and Bush will be embarrassed.

Hannity as always was anxious to bring it back to the a Liberal/Conservative argument so he brought up the Gang of 14 that stopped the "constitutional ( nuclear) option" claiming that it would expose the liberal agenda. However, Coulter didn't want to play that game today. For her it was a Republican/Conservative issue.

1. I guess they aren't at all concerned that
they are revealing the conservative agenda, by talking about it on air and openly admitting that they all lie--not just to the liberals, but the entire nation.

What a bunch of doofuses! I almost feel sorry for them.

Coulter seemed so sad on Maher--she wasn't quite as biting and acerbic as she usually is.

12. I have no sympathy. None.
She's made millions selling books full of lies and distortions to people too stupid to know they've been had. She's laughed all the way to the bank. If her cynical deception is taking a toll on her, maybe she'll learn a lesson. If not, she'll go the way of McCarthy, Cohn, Nixon, and all the other odious bastards who used lies and libel to enrich themselves and further their careers.

20. I hear you--I agree.
The first time I heard and saw her, I honestly thought something was wrong with me. I thought I couldn't have possibly have heard her correctly. I naively didn't think a woman could think the way she did or spew such lies and hatred.

Despite her subdued nature on Maher this week, she was still trying to spin some bullshit. So, she hasn't completely learned her lesson, I would dare say.

22. didn't she admit a while back
A while back, Coulter was quoted as saying, "We have the media" so they should nominate judges that are as far right as possible, since they have the media to foist them on to the American public.

6. The feeding frenzy has officialy begun:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1501421/posts

I especially like this one:
Coulter continues to sink into bimboism, by acting like she owns the Supreme Court and that only when someone passes HER tests, do they deserve to be on the court.

Ann is burning her bridges, for sure. Her next book likely won't sell quite as many copies as the last one did.

To: goldstategop
She was on Fox today and looked bad. She looked shopworn, too much makeup, way too much eye makeup.

She jumped the shark.
********
Right away, they bag on her appearance, and they say liberals are mean??

3. Actually, I'm collecting quotes from conservatives who admit
they lie to liberals. It isn't so apparent to ordinary Republicans.

4. This is disconcerting
I thought that the hard right would realize that a stealth candidate was the only way they could get another Thomas or Scalia on the court. But they seem to want to nominate the most in-your-face 'movement' fasci... um conservative possible.

What are they thinking? They think they can win that battle? I really don't get this.

7. Actually- you can't just lie to one party.
They lie to *everyone*, and they're particularly focussed on lying *about* liberals and liberal ideas.

Why do you suppose they would they lie about liberal ideas to the Wal-Mart "conservatives"? Those poor conservatives are, by the way, the same people that Ms. Coulter says cannot be allowed to have power, because they haven't gone to elite schools.

16. You got it, Tower. Bush lied to Americans, period.
That's quite a disconnect Ann's got going on there. But I wonder why the move now to turn the faithful away from Bush? What's the plan?

8. Yes, Ann--although you are among
the Republican pundit class,--the intellectual elite (sarcasm) the White House won't refrain from treating you like they do their base:

Ann, they think you are as stupid as the trash that listens to Rush, donates to Robertson, and sends inspirational glurge to every human being they have ever known.

Had you not spent the last 5 years fellating Bush, you might have kept your dignity. Now, you are just an unpaid whore--Dr. Laura warned you not to give away your precious self.....

what exactly is this "agenda" we have that we have to be so secretive about? It doesn't have to do with Project X, does it? }(

Last Friday on the Newshour. He said now conservatives are experiencing what liberals have from Bush - "just trust me"

14. Lying is wrong. Period.
By Coulter's logic, if you don't like someone or you disagree with him, you are free to bear false witness against him and to lie to his face.

Where does this fit with their beloved Ten Commandments? Their bible states that Gawd hates liars. So what gives?

Miss "I-Am-So-Moral-I-Want-To-Kill-People-Who-Aren't" has some 'splainin' to do.

18. What the hell are Brent Bozell's qualifications?
I know Ann is a chainsmoking, meth-addicted harpy, but at least she has some legal experience. What does Bozell know about law aside from trying to legislate what we watch on TV via the PTC?

For that matter, what are Hannity's qualifications?
