I never do this, but here's a quote from a disruptor on a thread in LBN:

"Oh, and by the way, we'll have the Supreme Court soon too, once... Ginsburg finally croaks - then we'll be able to outlaw abortions for everyone except Demonrats; we don't want you breeding anyway..."

Maybe I'm on crack, but this sounds like an ideal compromize. Let's outlaw abortions for Republicans and keep them legal for Democrats. In order to have an abortion, you need to either have been a registered Democrat before the law took effect or you have to have donated a certain portion of your income to a list of Democratic causes. If you can't prove any of those things, you're stuck with the kid and all the economic and social consequences of uncontrolled breeding.

Of course, we'd need some way to prevent these repubs from shipping their spawn into "demonrat" school districts where class sizes are managable and kids are getting the skills they need to get into colleges and high paying jobs.

It would be interesting to see the return rate on fundie educated children but I suspect it's pretty miserable. My parents and 12 aunts and uncles were all educated in Catholic schools and only 2 of them are still practicing Catholics. Kids can always be trusted to rebel against hypocritical authority. So let's let the fundies be the unwitting breeders of a generation of kids who really know why democracy is important. Plus we'd be getting all those donations from desperate country club parents with knocked-up daughters.

Tough love, maybe that's what's needed.

Lots of problems, of course. Starting with the statistical evidence that legalized abortion helped significantly trim crime statistics starting 18 years after its passage (go figure). Plus then the right wingers would outbreed us.

I'm not sure the right-wingers would outbreed us though. They would have more children but how many of those children would become right wingers in their turn and how many would turn on the hypocrisy of their parents and join our team? I'm betting a fair portion, particularly in the fundie families and especially if we can get good teachers doing their jobs into those parts of America.

I'd just love to see how this connection (legalized abortion and a lowered crime rate) was made.

I do so hope that the argument is not that the typical criminal is a young man (say, 18 yeaks of age) from a minority community, and that by legalizing abortion, our country was able to reduce the number of minority young men who might (if they had been born and had grown to become 18 years old) have committed crime.

Let's reduce crime by killing off potential criminals.

I bet, if you were to check, you'd fine several African-American Christians, as well as plenty of dark-skinned Muslims, who "don't want to have abortions".
