Sometimes I just can't joke about the "terror attacks"
Edited on Fri Oct-07-05 02:29 PM by DancingBear
I think about the fact that we have a p(Resident) who, to literally save his ass from impeachment, will use American citizens as pawns to save face.

I think of the firefighters, and police, and city workers who must put themselves in (supposed) harm's way over and over again while Dick and Karl see which strategy works best. Shall we do New York? Washington? Atlanta? Des Moines?

I think of the elderly and the poor who watch the last remaining portions of their pitiful safety nets go flying away as George tightens Americas (poverty) belt to fight the PR war on terror.

I think of the kids that will die today, and tomorrow, and the next day, far from home and for a cause that does not exist, save for in the demented minds of a few demented souls.

It is almost incomprehensible to me that, in this day and age, we are "led" by a man who plays the Christian Card in The White House instead of in the Reichstag, and who kills by stealth rather than in broad daylight.

I am not amused by the tricks George, but I am outraged. More now than yesterday -enough to take the anger level up another notch, and enough to hold true to the pledge that whenever and wherever I hear the lies, I will respond.

You will not take my country from me, you evil pig. No matter how many you try and scare, I and millions of others will be there to comfort them, and to tell them the truth. You will not win, you heartless stupid bastard. Get it through your cocaine addled, whiskey soaked head.

You will not win.

1. I am sitting here
a long long way from any of the areas that are "threatened". I am so mad that my head hurts. No, September 11 is not the day that America changed, it was that depressing and horrible day that the POTUS was selected for us by the Supremes. THAT is the day that America changed. I have been angry much of the time since that day but today it is just more than I can handle.

Thank you. :hi:
