There are no updates on her on the net since the arrest in DC.
Has she been sick?
Has she been scared?
I hope she is well and just taking a break.

1. Retreat 's essential for forward movement

I hope she's taking a few weeks off to coolect and center herself. One can't be out on the public stage too long before it throws you off. Keeping balanced through that requires time away.

MLK, Jesus, Mohammed, Mother Jones... all the leaders of the people have to take their days and weeks away.

Of course, I don't know what she's up to either, but I hope it's a rendezvous with the Spirit of Peace.

3. I believe in many ways

her work is done. She planted seeds and now much watch them grow to harvest. There will be more planting needed later.

7. Embracing the struggle is a life's work

I hear you about planting a seed. Indeed she has planted many this summer. But she did say in Philadelphia, and I imagine elsewhere, that she was not going to stop pushing and asking questions, that she was dedicating her life to the cause of peace and the memory of her son. I fully expect to see Cindy Sheehan again, don't you?

It may take different forms, but I believe her vision of her life as an activist is paramount for her. Not a bad life to live, is it?

I for one hope she runs for Senate or some national office. She is a treasure.

And of course, when you plant you have to spend a lot of time weeding and hoeing and keeping things trimmed for the harvest.

2. She's back home for now

There was something on here in the past few days that she went back home to a hero's welcome. Looks like she's just taking a break for a while.

4. CNN did a breif update on her last night.

They said she had given a speech in Illinois (Indiana?!? One of those "I" states), and that she planned to continue touring until every soldier was back home again.
