The thing I find interesting about his stance that the threat to the New York subways is most likely a fake is that when he says it, it's coming not only from someone who is in a position of journalistic authority, but from someone who also actually RIDES the subway himself.

I know that if I lived in NY and took the subway, I'd be more inclined to listen to Keith when he says "Don't let these guys scare us, they're just trying to fake us out" than to a lot of other people. I would know he's not just expressing the belief, but acting on it.
