"That's just the way it's always been" Is there any lamer excuse?

Whenever I here somebody say that it pisses me off to no end. The elite and the power hungry have been able to maintain their stranglehold on the populace with lame ass excuses like this. "Don't bump the system", "Don't rock the boat", Basically these phrases are saying "sit down and shut the fuck up" and in the mean time we have to live with that age old adage "The rich get richer while the poor get poorer" Well this is one boat rocker who isn't going to take it anymore.

Things change because we come to new understanding of things. But not all people come to the same understanding at the same time. Those that do not recognise the new ways of thinking will point to tradition and established behaviours as justification for their actions and choices.
