Dear Mr. O'Reilly,
It has come to my attention that you did a "feature" on liberal blogs this evening on your program. It seems that your fact-checker took the day off, so allow me to enlighten you: www.thesmokinggun.com is not a blog. Neither is www.mediamatters.org. The Smoking Gun publishes all manner of items, typically court filings and police reports. These are factual items, by anyone's standards except yours, right? Media Matters for America is a factual website dealing with mistakes or outright falsehoods in the media. complete with sourcing of those mistakes and/or falsehoods. To my immediate knowledge, Media Matters has never been sued. Maybe you should make David Brock's day and try it. I'm sure he and his attorneys would enjoy that day in court.
I was interested to read the details of Ms. Andrea Mackris' complaint against you on www.thesmokinggun.com, that's for sure. (While I'm setting you straight, I might as well let you know that a FALAFEL is not a sex toy, at least to most people.) Please take notes. There will be a test later.
Since you claim yourself to be the "no spin zone" czar, perhaps you could explain the following: If the incident with Ms. Mackris never happened as you allege, why did your representatives make a hefty settlement in the case? Why not go to court and clear your name?
This brings me to my last subject. If you're looking for liberal blogs to malign, I have a bone to pick with you. No www.democraticunderground.com? We have a BLOG and everything! There's tons of flaming liberals here! C'mon, Bill, you just don't have the guts, do you? Here's a few more liberal blogs for you to visit. See how many you can peruse before you're forced to admit that you've been wrong all these years.
www.bartcop.com www.eschaton.com www.pre$$titutes.com www.horsesass.org
While you're visiting those sites, I find it interesting that you supposedly need bodyguards. You allege that you need these bodyguards because of these terrible liberal websites. Interestingly enough, you must be a bit confused. It seems that our opponents on the other side of the aisle delight in menacing others when it suits them. (See www.freerepublic.com.) Would this be a bit of projection, perhaps?
Mr. O'Reilly, I'd like to help you, but first you must admit that you need help. Enjoy your visit at DU.
Fondly, Julie
