say there's already been an attempted assassination. Lots of opinions on an execution...that makes sense, the guy's sowed some bitter seeds.

...and what he knows...I've never understood how he was taken alive.

Also, I've never understood why the PTB would, under any possible circumstance, allow a trial...even a show trial.

...and, so far, they haven't.
