Noticed how the "Freep-Turds" are spinning the Bill Bennett comments?
I have heard a couple Re-thugs express their spin on the Bill Bennett's comments about aborting black babies and the effect it has on the crime rate. The spin is that his was expressing his stance against abortion. I'm sorry but, WTF!

First he should apologize! (Something he hasn't done yet). Then he should either resign or get fired!

Just my thoughts. This is the first chance I've had to express my thoughts. Apologies if this is a dupe.

3. Then they go into how important it is that we talk about "these issues"
Because they've built a media machine that will cover for any stupid thing they say or do, the things they say and do will only get more stupid.

They walk off the edge of the cliff, blind to any feedback, telling themselves it's the most brilliant step they could possibly take.

The evil movement that calls itself conservative assumes wealthy white male christian supremacy, without even thinking.

They are always going on about others inferiority, and about how they are the most discriminated against group possible.

They play to such prejudices.

Others are welcome, so long as they're willing to kiss and worship wealthy white male christian butt.

12. I note that Rice and Powell are both criminals.
Along with Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush and a slew of others, they falsified information to create an excuse to violate international law by invading a foreign country and murdering a huge numbers of citizens of those nations. They sanctioned terror and torture, held thousands of individuals without trial or legal redress and continue to incite violence and hatred.

These facts may have nothing to do with race but they are facts.

11. Well at least he got himself noticed abroad -
"Abort all black babies and cut crime, says Republican"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1582356,00.html

snip-
George Bush has distanced himself from comments made by a leading Republican crusader on moral values who declared that one way to reduce the crime rate in the US would be to "abort black babies".
-snip

"crusader on moral values"??
Now he's not just a moran, he's an international moran. Guys, this doesn't really win the US any more friends over here in pinko commie faggy Yurp. Or anywhere else, really.

14. He didn't say "poor" babies. He said "black".
He was expressing something he didn't mean to express. He clearly links blacks to crime, and the conversation context linked abortion to a reduced crime rate. Ergo, Bennett blurts out the derived connection blacks...abortion...crime rate.

For me, the most offensive thing is that he didn't sense the outrageousness of what he was saying before saying it. "Abort all black babies..." is a phrase that is hard to work into any sentence without it being offensive. Try it.

Also, Bennett was telling us about his audience. In his mind, just prior to saying what he said, Bennett probably thought what he was about to say was merely "provocative" to his listeners. He was telling us what he thinks his listeners think. I think he is right about them.

15. Evidently, he has GENOCIDE on his mind. Why aren't more people using the
correct word for what he contemplated?

Bennett's answer to a caller's question was a nonsequitur, a Freudian slip that revealed the sickness inside him. That sickness is not new, and it has a name.

16. Definitely. A "contemplation" and an utterance of a genocidal idea.
It should have horrified him before it reached his lips. It didn't.
