We didn't START the fire, but we DO have to put it out!
I find it very funny that they cannot even write a song without breaking the law.
As is so typical of the Repuke spin machine, they passed many laws and tax "reforms" that favored the rich over the "average Joe". However, when Dem's pointed out that the many of the current policies favor the rich over the middle class and the poor, they accuse us of trying to start a "class war". No, WE didn't start this fire. YOU did!

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph... linked to a video by a "new music group" with a "new" song. There is some controversy over whether they stole more from Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" or REM's "It's the End of the World as We Know It", but there's definitely one or more Copyright infringements involved.
I still think that Billy Joel's song is very inspirational. And very relevant.
Here are 2 different montages that are eerily similar.
http://www.flashplayer.com/music/fire.html http://home.uchicago.edu/~yli5/Flash/Fire.html Sorry, both of them take a while to load. But it's worth it.
Personally, on both of them, every time they hit the line "JFK, blown away" I break down in tears.
Just a thought, if you are ever in a position when this rip-off song is being played, when they get to their lame chorus, just start singing the REAL chorus:
We didn't start the fire
It was always burning
Since the world's been turning
We didn't start the fire
No we didn't light it
But we tried to fight it
We didn't start the fire
But when we are gone
Will it still burn on, and on, and on, and on...
