14. The "sort of" is not correct. My brother in law was on UDT team 16. Once

over a couple of beers he told me he always wondered if he was eligible to wear the SEAL Trident. One day I saw on the internet an article about how many people fake being SEALS and there was a group of active and retired SEALS who were trying to do something about the fakes. I contacted them thinking they could steer me to someone who could answer the Trident question. They were very nice bit said they first had to confirm my brother in law was for real. I gace them the info and got back an amazing but sad reply. The message said "congratulations" your brother in law is for real and the first legitimate SEAL in about 60 inquiries. This person then directed me to the Navy Special Warfare Center in Coronado, CA and this very efficient woman again checked my brother and advised me that any one who completes BUDS training is considered a Navy SEAL and that my brother in law was authorized to wear the SEAL Trident. I fould a guy who makes 14 k military insignias and had a SEAL Trident pendant made for him. When i dave it to him and told him it was a great privilege for me to be able to do this for him; he wept.

I recall some controversy when Jesse was governor over whether, because he was on a UDT Team, he was a "real" Seal. So I guess this answers that question.

But he's still pretty weird.
