are not bigots, there are a whole lot. as my neighbor across the street flies the confederate flag, and i see tons of confederate flag stickers on vehicles, and i saw a truck recently pull up to that neighbors house with a kkk clothe flag over the whole back of his window, in an upper income neighbor
you are right, we all are not bigots. but,.....unfortunately there are many, and they are on the rise now the "good" christians and repugs have validated and encourage the bigotry

i hear what you say and there are a lot of good people, a lot of good people that are bigots, lol. out of ignorance, the way they are raised, but bigots they are. i do call it like it is though, i dont turn my eyes away. and.... i do it in love, just dont accept or honor that behavior. if these people had a flash, just a flash of lite, of understanding what they look like in their own bigotry, they would feel such shame. many anyway. not all

Breakdown of large Texas cities and the way they allegedly voted during the 2004 Presidential election:
Dallas 49% (Dallas) Tarrant 37% (Ft. Worth) Bexar 44% (San Antonio) El Paso 56% (El Paso) Travis 56% (Austin) Harris 45% (Houston)
Texas isn't nearly as red in the cities as one might think. In the larger metropolitan areas of Texas, Bush and Kerry were neck and neck with Bush receiving a total of 1,755,762 votes and John Kerry receiving 1,577,388.
RACE NAME PARTY CANVASS VOTES PERCENT President/Vice-President George W. Bush/ Dick Cheney REP 346,246 50.34% John F. Kerry/ John Edwards DEM 336,641 48.95% Michael Badnarik/ Richard V. Campagna LIB 3,653 0.53% Michael Anthony Peroutka/ Chuck Baldwin W-I 143 0.02% John Joseph Kennedy/ Daniel R. Rezac W-I 7 0.00% Deborah Elaine Allen/ Joesph H. Senegals W-I 6 0.00% Andrew J. Falk/ Marijohn Peterman W-I 4 0.00% Walt Brown/ Mary Alice Herbert W-I 7 0.00% David Keith Cobb/ Patricia LaMarche W-I 102 0.01% Ralph Nader/ Peter Miguel Camejo W-I 900 0.13% ----------- Race Total 687,709
According to these figures, close to 75,000 more people voted in 2004 than in 2000 with the Democratic vote reflecting an increase of 61,333 votes with a net increase of over 4% of the vote and the Republican vote only realizing a gain of 23,901 but sustaining a net loss of over 2% of their vote.

It was described then as one of the most viciously racist cities in America, whether North or South, and these poll results merely reflect the fact that its racism is undiminished. Consider these numbers the equivalent of a wildly enthusiastic crowd cheering Bennett and shouting "Zieg Heil!" as if he were the reincarnation of some Nazi minister of education.

part of the Civil Rights Movement -- in which there were also (wholly contrary to MSM reports) many native-born white Southerners. (The Village Voice did a comprehensive piece c. 1965 on Southerners active in the Civil Rights Movement, and I did a similar story in '69 -- its primary focus the degree of real integration among Southern youth -- this for an alternative NYC paper that unfortunately never got into publication.)
