" a vote against me will not stick it to George Bush."
So says St Paul MN mayor Randy Kelly, a Democrat who, in an inexplicable loss of reasoning, endorsed bush for prez in 2004, and is now desparately trying to attain damage control.
Sorry Randy, lie with dogs and you scratch fleas.

it will remove one more voice in a position of authority that keeps the troops there.
And yes, in its own way, a vote against him will stick it to Chimpy.

I don't know what it is about St. Paul that makes these politicians think they can do this. First Normie boy and now Kelly. And the Pioneer Press endorsed Bush too. Bush got like 20% in St. Paul!!!!

| 3. A vote against him is a vote against a politician with poor judgment |
|
who the people of St. Paul can't trust to make good decisions.
Would he view that as a valid reason to vote against him? What a fool and jackass.

| 4. It's like that Mel Gibson line in the western "Maverick" -- |
|
I forget the exact lines, but it's something like:
Maverick: "Fellas, shootin' me ain't gonna get you your money."
Thugs: "Yeah, but it'll sure make us feel a lot better."

| 6. Kelly is missing the point - likely because he's out of touch with reality |
|
People do not want him in.
He alienated his base by openely supporting *.
Most people are polarized.
And those who are not polarized have seen the truth of politicians' acts and would hardly vote for the imcumbant (if at all) anyway.
Or just don't care about politics and prefer to be selfish.
Kelly supported *. To now tell us a vote against him will not stick it to * suggests voting for him will stick something to *. Sounds a bit absurd, really...
