|
You gotta wonder... he's had to know what Judy was going to say... He's probably had the indictments all typed up and ready to go...so could the indictments come TODAY?!?! Why wait for Monday?

| 2. He has to have something else.. |
|
.. it seems to come back to somebody giving testamony about the secret memo on airforce one. They are all claiming that they either did not give her name, or that they did not know she was undercover.
He must have something else... which would leed me to agree, that this is more of a formality and he could well have them ready to go.

the typical "news dump" day?
Somehow I don't think Fitgerald cares about news coverage, he's always been pretty low-profile even in high profile cases.
I damn sure will be monitoring DU all day today. LOL

They probably have most of the indictments drafted, but the'll have to write a bit based on Miller's testimony today and the GJ will probably have to vote. So next week is likely.
I can't wait either. I hope the indictments tell the whole sordid story.

I think it'll be on a Friday, especially if the indictments will be a bombshell. Either Condi or Bolton, or both could be subjects. That would be very serious stuff. If Crashcart (likely) or * (less likely) are subjects, it will definitely be on a Friday.
Fitz ain't dumb. He'll want this to make as small a splash as possible knowing full well that it will take some time to get Congress to act on an independent investigation. If this goes big there will have to be impeachments. He knows that the country isn't ready for that right now. (Why? I have no idea why. With all the Bush*t it ought to be. It just isn't, I guess.) That's why he'll want a small splash.
He wants these guys held accountable. But he knows it is going to take some time. It might be a year and a half before hearings can convene.
My opinion.

Give him time to do it right. He has a great track record for successful prosecutions. Lay off him.
About his plans or typed indictments: Those who know aren't saying and those who say don't know.
