Will Tom Delay be handcuffed and fingerprinted?
Is this the procedure they always follow when someone is indicted? Would'nt that be great?

3. He must be fingerprinted and photographed
and the mug shots will be on the internet within minutes of them being taken. Count on it.

9. I wouldn't have thought handcuffed.
It's not like he's going to run away.

I remember that a few years ago a senior British politician (can't remember the details) was arrested following some allegations (which were later proved false, f.w.i.w.); the police actually made an appointment with his lawyer for a time when he would present himself at a police-station so that he could be formally arrested.

Fingerprinting is a standard part of being arrested though.

11. He'll be fingerprinted and have hismug shot taken
I don't know about Texas law regarding a DNA sample. The poster above is incorrect re: DNA sample to FBI, that is only for federal indictments which this was not.

I agree with Walt Starr re: mug shots on the internet. I can't wait to see em!

He will almost definitely NOT be handcuffed.

16. No handcuffs, No jail unless convicted.
In cases like this papers are served to his attorney, an appointment is made for him to be processed (fingerprints & mug shot) at a police station, then he will be released pending trial.

He will have to be found guilty for him to serve prison time.
