The latest bomb in London: Free Speech (Wednesday)
"An 82 year old man shouted "Nonsense" when Jack Straw was making a speech and mentioned Iraq. The stewards moved in and dragged him out of his seat and hustled him out of the hall. When someone else told them to ease off on the old guy, they dragged him out, too.

When the old guy (only a Labour Party member for 57 years) tried to come back into the hall, they applied the Prevention of Terrorism Act and took away his pass."

I got this today from a UK football site of a club with a fairly progressive fan base.

1. How long do you give the British anti-war movement before they follow suit
with the Civil Disobedience we've seen in DC?
