On the schedule of people that were signing books - Lynne Cheney's name appeared in the 10:45 time slot. I might have missed it and I actually looked, but did anyone see her particular tent? Did she even show?

Maybe she didn't show up because it might not have been that great an idea to sign her crappy lesbian pulp novels considering the crowd that was there that day?

I said hello to Tom Wolfe. That was cool.

I saw her name slapped all over the backdrops as the host, but I could barely stand to watch any of it - seemed like a parade of right wing authors to me - but was curious if Laura was hanging around town during the protests.

Looks like Lord Farquaad with a shoebrush mustache.

I didn't even know Laura hosted this thing. If I did, I wouldn't have given it a second thought.

Sure would have liked to have seen Doctorow, though.
