i just got back from voting on one...and i am concerned about BBV. there didn't seem to be a discrete number assigned to my vote. the machine only tallies the number of votes, and i was number 85 on the machine. no one interviewed me for an exit poll either. the polls are open here for another 3 1/2 hours...it's still too earlier to be claiming victory for ahhnold. and of course, some people haven't voted yet. please: give it a rest a least until after the polls close here. thank you.

especially as this is a mixed equipment election. If that analysis shows a huge difference in precincts that used various forms of voting equipment, then hell yes we'll scream.

As for the 2000 election, maybe if your Nader hadn't been on the ballot, it would not have been an issue. But like most Nader apologists you go to extreme lenghts to rationalize him.

As for the "DLC rolling over" maybe if the Greens hadn't voted for Nader the problem wouldn't have happed. I forgot--the Greens and their extremist followers are never responsible for anything.

What was Gore going to do? Squat at the White House and refuse to leave after 12/12/00? Run down the streets of Washington rioting and mooning people? Stand in front of Bush's limo Pennsylvania Avenue?
