or he is putting up a good show of it. But the fact he said they may not find the leaker, that probably means it is somebody or plural, high up in the administration. Like Rove or Cheney or Scooter, or even Dubya could be involved. So of course they are sanitizing the records to hand to Ashcroft, and trying to pull another one off. The CIA is going to have its work cut out on this one, without records to use as evidence. Plus maybe the bush admin. is trying to cut a deal behind the scenes. I have noticed how really scared he seems lately when he does his public speaking. What is it about that guy, that I always feel sorry for him?

... can't help but think that the leaker *will* be found, or at least a proxy. The problem here for Bush* is there are too many people involved. Someone will talk, and many probably already have "off the record".

My guess is that the Company already knows who did it and and giving the administration time to "investigate" and "find". If they do not, there *will* be a Plan B, and it won't be a happy plan for Bush*.

18. A question about the Secret Service

I know that the Service has its roots in the Treasury. But I wondered where the body guards are recruited. Are they also recruited from Treasury? I've wondered where their loyalties would be when the ex CIA people went on the air with their displeasure.

I even feel funny about asking such a question. But stuff like this crosses your mind when different parts of the gov't are at odds with each other. Geesh. Gives me the willies.
