Riding out the MARCH in CO, Bush IMPLYING DC target of RITA? LOL
Edited on Fri Sep-23-05 12:16 PM by jackstraw45
How funny that Bush is riding out the MARCH in Colorado.

I guess they don't have televisions and communications equipment in the White House Situation Room:

"The White House Situation Room, run by the National Security Council staff, is in the basement of the West Wing of the White House. The President of the United States and his advisors use it to monitor and deal with crises at home and abroad. The Situation Room is equipped with secure, advanced communications equipment for the President to maintain command and control of U.S. forces around the world. ...

The room has secure communications systems built into it, and often times a special White House staff duty officer will take notes of sensitive conversations between the President and other world leaders. The walls contain wood panels that hide different audio, video and other systems. The room also has three different digital clocks, that display the time in Washington, D.C. and two other geographic locations, often times the sites of sensitive current political or other types of events."

Just make sure EVERYONE you know hears about the Crawford Chicken HIDING in Colorado.

"Bush probably will be inside the center when Rita makes landfall in Texas on Saturday morning."

4. No...but people say he's "riding out the STORM" in Colorado...
As if DC was an unsafe place to be due to Rita.

So obvious to US that he's hiding from the protests that I think we need to share that fact with the world outside of DU and Dem activist circles. :)

10. Nah. It just that the mountains are higher than the storm surge.
You know that George always wants to be sure that his ass is absolutely safe. No matter what's happening to the rest of us.

Edited on Fri Sep-23-05 12:04 PM by Oreo
True tinfoil hatters are shitting their pants now. Rita causes massive gas shortages, DC march makes Kent State look like a picnic, and Bush is safe in a bunker.

Note that Operation Granite is being run out of NORTHCOM and Bush is "riding out the hurricane" in NORTHCOM HQ. :tinfoilhat:

14. Isn't anyone worried about the military in Wash DC and Bush hiding
in a bunker on CO? Seems to me they are planning on some real ugly stuff going down there and they don't want the President to be seen as participating in any way. Tin foil hat maybe but, shouldn't we alert the media about this possiblity? Surely they are planning on agitators in the crowd.
