Rush Limbaugh to fans: I'm not being Clintonesque
Edited on Mon Oct-06-03 05:36 PM by LynneSin
Based on some things that I have read, things that people have written - and I understand it, what people have said - let me try one more time, ladies and gentlemen, on the story about me and drug use. When I said Friday that I didn't yet know what I was dealing with and that when I did I would tell you everything, I meant exactly that. Some people are interpreting that to mean, well, in fact, let me just be blunt. People are saying that I'm being Clintonesque, that I'm waiting until I know everything I have to deal with so that I can figure out what I have to lie about. That's what I said that Bill Clinton always did when we were waiting for him to come forth.

Lynne's interpretation of what Rush just said:

When Clinton says he refuses to comment until he hears all the evidence then he must be a lying sack of crap that is corrupting the morals of this country and must be removed from office immediately!!! But that doesn't apply to me, because I just want to know what the facts are before I get myself into anymore hotwater. Anyhow, it was Clinton getting a blowjob that caused me to abuse these drugs in the first place and can't we impeach him again even though he's out of office??

btw Rush - you could never EVER be Clintoniques. Bill Clinton was a class act - something you'll never be in a million years

1. I see withdrawal symptoms
I know he never makes any sense .. but cheese uz ...

He said, "That's what I said that Bill Clinton always did when we were waiting for him to come forth. "

Doesn't sound like he's saying that now.
I think Karma just arrived.

Seriously, if he's been 'ingesting', he does need to seek medical treatment .. no j/k.

2. An alternative interpretation:
Pigboy has been so stoned all the time that he has to wait for somebody else to tell him what he's been doing. :-)

3. That's for damn sure
that's he's not being 'Clintonesque'. He isn't fit to lick President Clinton's boots.

5. i thought for sure
that he'd be talked into going into rehab by now. wrong!

i guess his fans may be treated to the scenario of him falling apart during the broadcast. well, if it's on air, his fans can brag they were there the day he lost it.

6. So Rush arrogates to himself
I like that word: Arrogate. Looks so much like another word that applies to well to Mr. Limbaugh. Anyway, Limbaugh arrogates to himself the right to wait and see what his opponents have on him before he formulates his response, but doesn't see fit to extend that to Clinton? Double standard or mere hypocrisy? You make the call.

The reason Clinton didn't shoot his mouth off about the half-assed accusations against him is because there was no telling what was coming next: Another bogus accusation of murder, or some penny-ante charge that he'd let someone spend the night at the White House. Since there were no constraints on Clinton's accusers to tell the truth, Clinton was quite wise to wait until the mighty Republican Wurlitzer had stopped booming before systematically dismantling whatever nonsense it had spewed forth.

In Limbaugh's case, he's not saying anything because he doesn't want to tip off law enforcement about how much trouble he's really in. Nothing wrong with that, there's no sense in creating trouble where none exists (yet), but spare us the sanctimony, Rash. You've stepped on your johnson big time, and you're facing the loss of everything you've lied your ass off for the last quarter century to build. Take it like a man for once in your life, and face the music. You've asked for nothing less from 17 year old single mothers; are you saying that they're tougher than you? (They are, but that's another rant entirely.)

19. If anyone wants to know what denial sounds like, listen to Rush...
There wasn't one repentant word since the whole drug scandal broke. Not one. But there were plenty of "I've been victimized" ramblings about the ESPN affair. Psychopathic murders have nothing on Rush.

9. He is just going to wait long enough and then make the claim,
"On the advice of my attorney I cannot discuss this until it is all over. Once it is over, I will tell you everything" Yeaaaaah right. He is going to have to say something soon because if there is one thing we all have in common, we are impatient! How is he going to buy himself some more time???

10. Remember how fat he was? And how repugs crowed about his lost weight?
Guess what folks:

It wasn't the Atkins diet.

It was the Oxycontin diet.

It's Rush Limbaugh's impression of "heroin chic."

11. Anyone else getting more Vicodin spam lately?
Edited on Mon Oct-06-03 06:29 PM by Junkdrawer
I've notice an increase in spammers wanting me to talk to their "doctors" and then get all kinds of addictive drugs over the net. I wonder if Rush's devoted fans will help make Vicodin and Oxycontin the new "hip" drugs of the radical right?

12. Did he refute or deny his addiction?
No....then he should shut up. Why is this junkie allowed to pollute our airwaves? If he's traffiking in OXY-Contin, he ought to be arrested.

Why don't Republicans have any morals? They seem so anti-family...

dusting off the old Clinton lines isn't

17. I bet that Clear Channel has random drug testing for all their
non-white, or <$300K salaried employees.

Take a hair sample. Can't they test for drug history using hair samples? Watch for Fatpig to go "bald from the stress"!
