MTP: Haley Barbour for Pres 2008?
This is a name I had not even considered. Is this possible he could get the nomination after Katrina?

he is so hated here in MS

You have no idea how many repukes regret that vote.

Cutting medicare has a tendency to piss people off, Haley cut about 77,000 people.

4. They are going to try and make him out a hero like they did Guliani
I think Mississippi is not doing all that well but the Media is not around. Every city on the Mississippi coast has "gone missing" I can only imagine the chaos.

5. If he does
Then Dems can bring up his little trip to Hong Kong back in 1996 to pick up ChiCom campaign contributions while yachting around the harbor.

6. Even the Repukes here in Mississippi can't stand him...
he's basically done nothing right since his election, and EVERYONE is embarrassed by his made-up, one-of-a-kind accent. I mean, nobody else talks like that, thank God. But if he ran for president, Diebold would probably elect him. Heaven help us all.

7. You too could talk like Haley if you just put a dozen or so
marbles in your mouth. That mushmouthed old fool is a pathetic excuse for a human being.

9. He has always been physically repulsive and is
growing more so as he ages. I saw him on TV a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believed how bad he looked under all the pancake makeup. He talks in a very ignorant sounding, off-putting way. He is not likeable. So, yeah...run, Barbour, run!!!:toast: We've got your back, man!

11. The man is a bleeting joke.
He is even more over the top than NeroShrub. He does not speak clearly, and I have heard nothing but that he couldn't govern if he had to. Let them nominate him. Snowball, meet hell.

16. Since he will have worn out his welcome in Mississippi....
That may be the only thing left for him - the Presidency. If Dubya can do it, then why not Haley?
