Another Bush broken promise
http://www.wisinfo.com/newsherald/mnhlocal/290152914322799.shtml

When Bush came to the city of Wausau Wisconsin during the '04 campaign, he was to be greeted by a protest of local politicians and dairy farmers over his plans to eliminate the MILC program which provides a subsidy to Dairy farmers. He "pre-empted" the protest by announcing at the Wausau rally that he favored extending the MILC program.

Surprise!

It was a lie.

Now that he will never have to ask for the vote of the Wisconsin (or national) dairy farmer ever again, he's going to quietly let the program expire by not interceding with the Republican controlled majority in Congress.

The PR president strikes again....he probably had NO CLUE what the term MILC meant when he read the speech in Wausau in '04 and still doesn't know or understand the issues.

Our State Assembly Woman, Amy Sue Vruwink got it right...

"When the President was in Wausau, he said he intends to extend the MILC program," she said. "I hope that he is behind what he said. I know the people in central Wisconsin. We come from a part of the country where a handshake is a handshake."

The man has no integrity whatsoever....

Why would "salt-of-the-earth" midwesterners ever vote for someone like that?
