Are we at the brink of a larger scale war ?
With this WAR happy administration we know all this is possible. Do all these events happening make sense, that we are at the brink of another war front Or do I need to be fitted for a bigger tinfoil hat?

 :tinfoilhat:

The talks, involving the two Korea's, the United States, Japan, Russia and China have been deadlocked over Pyongyang's insistence on its right to atomic energy, a position Washington had rejected.

Failure to reach an agreement on dismantling North Korea's nuclear weapons programs in exchange for aid and security guarantees could prompt Washington to take the issue to the U.N. Security Council and press for sanctions.

The North has said sanctions would be tantamount to war.

1. With Bush's promises to NOT raise taxes and make the cuts elsewhere..
maybe the military is worried they may see cuts. Another war would solve that fear.

2. All I Want To Say Here Is That War Is The Neocon's Only Escape...
The neocons have put themselves into such a corner that the only way they see "out" is war.

They figure they'll jack the economy with war, they'll jack their bank accounts with war, they'll avoid ever having to answer for their crimes, with war.

These hell hounds have no other option. We're in for it.

3. I just hope no one lets them near the nukes.
Other countries seem to be doing a good job of shunning them. I really thought we would have had WWII breaking out all over the Middle East by now, but they seem to have some good common sense to keep this war confined to Iraq and stay out of it unless they are invaded. We will be in deep shit if Dumbya unleashes the nukes.
