5. Down to $2.79 here, and people are still bitching
esp'ly when I tell them gas in Iraq is $0.25 per gal and Halliburton is trucking that in from Kuwait and charging the US taxpayer $2.25 per (don't know if it's true but it sounds good and really pisses the fence sitter off):evilgrin:

9. this is true to the extend that Iraqi's pay just
pennies for a gallon of gas and the rest is subsidized by us, there was an article in the Toledo Blade several weeks ago about just that, their figure at the time was the Iraqi's where paying just $.05
a gallon at the time.

8. Just paid $2.25 per gal here
was $2.46 before Katrina, after "locked in" price was $2.49, then dropped to $2.25 in day few days.
